Role and Responsibilities: As a CMS Manager, you’ll play a key role in our eCommerce business, including:
- Maintain and update the content management system (CMS), primarily WordPress, ensuring it runs efficiently and securely.
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and roles within the CMS.
- Monitor and manage website performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime.
- Collaborate with content writers, web developers, and designers to ensure content is published and organized effectively.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize website content for search engines.
- Regularly backup website data and ensure data security and integrity.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, proposing and implementing new features and tools as needed.
- Train and assist team members on CMS usage and best practices.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of website analytics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in managing CMS platforms, with a strong emphasis on WordPress.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in using website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
